A Neurosurgeon with more than 12 years of experience, Dr. C V Gopalakrishnan is an expert in Paediatric Neurosurgery and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery. Trained at some of the finest medical institutes in India, Canada and Switzerland, he specialises in the surgical management of complex brain and spinal disorders in children, including brain tumours, hydrocephalus, craniosynostosis, spasticity and spinal dysraphism.
Dr. Gopalakrishnan has attained training in highly advanced procedures like minimally invasive selective dorsal rhizotomies for children with spasticity, spina bifida management, craniofacial surgeries, endoscopic strip craniectomy for infants with craniosynostosis, endoscopic third ventriculostomy and choroid plexus coagulation for paediatric hydrocephalus.
