Our expert team carries out a detailed assessment in a single visit to the clinic. Initially, a specialist breast consultant or nurse examine your medical history including any risk factors. After the initial assessment, you will be prescribed a breast ultrasound scan, and if needed a mammogram. If any abnormality is found in the scan, then you will be requested to carry out a further assessment - either a fine needle aspiration (FNA) or a biopsy. All this is to identify the root cause for the symptoms and to address the problem at the initial stage itself.
Even if you don’t show any symptoms, it is wise to get your breast screened every year especially if you are woman of the age above 40 years. It is to be noted that most breast symptoms are not caused by cancer. But it is better to be safe than sorry. Your chance of recovery is high if breast cancer is diagnosed at an early stage.
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer type in women in India. It is estimated that an Indian woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every four minutes. And it has been on the rise, both in rural and urban India. It is also estimated that for every 2 women newly diagnosed with breast cancer, one dies of it. The good news is that early detection coupled with the right treatment helps overcome this deadly health condition.Read less

Cancer Care During Covid-19
Some people with cancer have a weak immune system which reduces their ability to fight infections like Covid-19.
Patients with a suspicion of cancer
Consult a General Physician and undergo basic tests. If there is a rapidly growing lump or excessive bleeding or any other signs of an aggressive tumour, the doctor will prescribe further tests, as needed.
The Oncology team at the hospital will triage the patient and decide if an urgent workup is needed.
